IF THAT BE THY WILL, MY LORD !

If that be Thy will, my Lord,
I shall go
From birth to birth and
Shall return to this earth
Many a time again !

Through pleasure and pain
Shall I pass alike
And shall carry with a smile
The burden of this
Mortal life.

In return,
I seek not wealth,
No name, No power.
Knowledge ? No, not, my Lord.
Not even the
Liberation of my soul.

But grant Thou only this,
My Father -
That I may see Thee alone
In all beings and things,
Never ever losing sight of Thee
And that I may supremely love Thee always
In everyone
And with every atom of my being
As I do at this moment of bliss, my Lord.
